I got a smiley face/+ve OPK this morning with FMU (I tested 4x yesterday and all were -ve). This is happening at least 3 days earlier than we expected it to happen--I usually don't O until cd19+, but today I'm cd15. We DTD (protected) on Sunday, so this screws up our plan to abstain completely for a week first and then go with one attempt at +ve OPK.
Luckily I just happened to spot this 2 seconds before I shut my computer off!
Has he already released? I would advise instead, to have him wait till tonight, release once, dump it, then DTD again as soon as he's able to using only second batch for insemination (this is the hurry up FR). I think 3 batches might be too depleting and he may have trouble finishing the last go-round
There is no point waiting till tomorrow, for the CFR to work it has to be 2-3 releases for 2-3 days before day of attempt, and for the hurry up FR to work, it has to be the two releases preferably within 1 hour, within 3 is ok, and within 6 is acceptible. Longer than that means that the sperm will have recovered.
Whatever else you do, keep that one attempt! :)
Okay :) Thank you so much atomic. If this cycle is a bfn I'm going to do a personalized sway and try to convince him to wait until spring!
I can do a quick turnaround on a custom sway if I need to.
