A couple of moon q's

Hi ladies,

I know this has been asked or mentioned before somewhere but I cannot find the specific info I'm looking for, so I hope you can help!

Firstly, as far as zodiac moon signs are concerned, is it timing of BD or actual ovulation which matters? eg. I BD at the beginning of a definite girl sign phase, but ovulated 2 days later on a day that changed to boy about 1pm.

Secondly, is first quarter moon still considered new moon phase?

Thanks so much in advance! Just trying to figure out all the science to see where I stand! :D

Yes, first quarter moon is still new moon phase. Anywhere from the time new moon starts to the start of the next full moon sways girl, the legend goes.

So for ttc blue from the day of full moon to 1 day before new moon? I thought it's only on THE day of full moon! Wow then this is great because I ttc in Sept. and full moon is on the 12 new moon is on 27th and I O between this.
Is this right?

It's the conception date that matters. If you Oed in boy sign that's it because that's when the conception occurred .
Anyway, Imho it's more OWT and just for fun :) There was a thread about this on IG, lots of boys under girl signs and vice versa. I'd say it's 50/50. But if you have right Moon phase + right Moon sign + diet ( which is THE MOST IMPORTANT) then I'd say chances for DG are higher :wink:

conception can actually occur up to 48hrs after OV, although usually within 24hrs

You are supposed to conceive in the moon sign that you want. If you BD a few days before ovulation, all that matters is the sign that the moon is in when the egg is actually fertilized. So you could BD in a male sign, but not conceive until it has changed to a female sign--just depends on when the egg is released.

So possibly the actual conception could have happened in a boy sign, but I have the new moon phase in my favour (probably more of a factor) and I do know both mine and hubby's biorhythms were great at that time too, so that's positive :D

Well, after a bit of research..turns out my boy was conceived in a full moon phase, with good boy biorhythms for hubby and I (me lean, him full) but moon was in Taurus (girl sign). So looks like moon phase has more influence than moon sign for us. Excellent! :D
