boy or girl :)
Hi everyone here's my 14w1 us PIC from private us where we were told baby boy. At 17 weeks were then told girl during a rushed hospital scan. I had assumed the "protusion " on the PIC attached was boy parts , however after searching the net for other 14w potty shots haven't found one that looks like This and have actually seen threads of girl us with shots just like this ( though perhaps not as big). I read that potty shots are inaccurate before 16 weeks , also any other boy potty shots I've seen have shown a scrotum and penis ( or turtle lol) , ours just shows an oval bulge . naturally now I'm confused after being told one sex , and then another , and now have to wait until next us to reconfirm .
As I was only 14 weeks ( although baby is measuring 9 days bigger by head measurements ) I'm wondering since all boys and girls both have a nub at this point is this what we are seeing ? The tech who did the first us believed I was 16 weeks , as they don't tend to scan until this gestation so maybe she assumed the possible "nub" was in fact 16 week definite boy parts . anyone else had a similar experience ?
I am a mother to 2 boys currently , and was desperate for a girl , however have now come to like the idea of another son , so the last us at 17 weeks has left me very confused .
Opinions very welcome and much appreciated :)

That's looks like a boy. 9 days ahead would typically mean they change your due date and you are further along than you thought!

Hi :) my original dates are 100% certain (was charting) so baby is just bigger than "he" should be . the doctor told me they won't change my dates unless 10 days out so my due date is staying the same :)

Thank you all for your replies :) I think boy too - have just read and saw so many things now to conflict my opinion , especially since being told at 17 weeks that "he" was actually a "she".
Excited and anxious to get my next scan to know for def . :)
