Hi. First time member, long time lurker.

Hi all. I am a first time poster, long time lurker. I've read the posts here for a long time, but never made an account and posted before.
I have one DS and we really want a DD to complete our little family. We are very interested in trying HT, but don't know where to start to find a place near us to do it. Is the paid membership (the $12 thing) good to help with HT or just sway info?

ALL of the HT info is in the Dream Member section for HT! A state by state listing is located there.

Welcome! Get the membership, there is LOTS of HT info on here and most of the HT posters become members to post in the private forums. GL!

Welcome! I think there's is an option to pay by card, but don't quote me on that - had been a while since I've ventured over there!

If you go to settings on the top right corner of your screen, then on the left down the side there is edit profile and edit avatar, you put your picture in there. Hoping that helps x

Tiger- I can see your photo when I click on you. The ones you see in the forum posts are Avatars. Go to Settings, and look for that option and you will then see your photo in the forum. You added a Profile Picture which is what I see when I click on your username and view your profile.

Avatars are what wee see when in the forum posting

We only use Paypal. It is secure and allows you to use any form of payment you like. You do not need to ever store your data on Paypal- you may elect not to and do a one time payment. It will let you use a credit, debit or even a check to pay!

im having trouble paying. it says that I can't pay with the card I have on file in the paypal account. its a visa prepaid gift card. its brand new so I know the money is there. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I am not sure. If you call Paypal, they pick up immediately and are actually very helpful on the phone. I am sure they can help you out!
