I'm using clearblue dual OPKs, which claim to detect the rise in Estrogen before the LH surge.
This morning I got a flashing smiley meaning more Estrogen. I drank quite a lot of wine last night and thought I remembered reading somewhere about alcohol increasing this hormone. Do you think this alcohol could affect the test results?

Alcohol is supposed to increase estrogen but that is typically in people who are on hormone replacement therapy or chronic, longtime alcoholics and are postmenopausal. If you read otherwise, it is due to a misinterpretation of the findings.
