EWCM but didn't get a +OPK

I've had EWCM since this morning but I never got a +OPK.

Should I have an urgent attempt tonight.

TTC girl.

What CD do you normally get a positive opk? I usually have ewcm a few days before a posts opk.

I've never used OPK's before! Maybe I should have done a test run!

You can have EWCM for over a week before you actually O, and often O happens a few days after fertile CM starts to dry up. If you are trying for just one attempt, I would wait for the positive OPK. Or you can just BD every 4 days if you're afraid of missing your surge. OPKs don't work wrll for everyone, though they do for most with normal cycles.

Just a bit of advice on OPKs. I would test twice a day. Get a pile of ICs. Test once around 2:00pm then again between 8:00 and 10:00pm. Hold your wee for 4 hours before POAS, last 2 hours no liquids. GL!

:agree: You can get EWCM for ages before you get a pos OPK! A couple months ago I got EWCM starting on CD 3!

yes I agree atomica it is very possibile.

I definitely agree about testing multiple times daily with cheap OPKs (Wondfo from amazon are best), but I recommend testing mid-morning (9-10am) and mid aftenoon (around 3pm). You can test later in the day but for most women LH levels are lowest at night so not much point. Once you notice what times you get the darkest lines, you can drop to testing just once a day until your lines start getting close to positive.
