About Eczema

Do any of u girls have it and what are the gender/s of your kids. I think cranberry juice is making my eczema worse could this be the case? Tia

I don't know about the cranberry but I have a friend who has extremely bad eczema and she has a boy and a girl.

Neither dh or I have excema but our boys do lol

I do and I have 2 boys, mine is worse around ov and af

One interesting observation that has been made is that some autoimmune diseases may be linked with more boy conceptions.

my first daughter has eczema and I have two daughters. I don't have it though but we do have allergies in both my husbands and my family.

Interesting stuff. Any idea which ones in particular? I have Hashimoto's Disease and it would be really great if at least ONE positive thing could come of it :fingers:

So far, eczema and rheumatoid arthritis have seemed to be much more prevalent among the boy moms than the girl moms (but there are still girl moms who get these diseases). But at the same time, men with RA have more daughters. It's all very confusing.

Hashimoto's Disease causes high cholesterol which would seem to lead to more boy conceptions.

Yes, I do think cran juice could contribute to eczema, if you're sensitive to it.

I have eczema and I have a girl! I do think mine is a mild case though. I have heard of some people taking epo for it and maybe it's my imagination but I do think mine is better lately (and I am taking epo from af to o).
