I have 2 dds and with both i would have a banana for breakfast practically everyday.
I ate tons of bananas before DD5 - it was part of my "sway" (not a GD sway) I ate so many I still don't like them today :D
Wow! Interesting! Thanks for your responses. Anyone else atr or eats super foods peanut butter or bananas and have a dd? This is to prep me for my future sway as I love to eat those foods!;-)
Nope never ate banana or pb, was also vegetarian at the time
I ate a banana everyday and peanutbutter every day.
I don't think the food says something I believe its your totals of cal and fat and proteïne that counts.
yes I had bananas and also peanut butter sometimes. I ran out of peanut butter a couple weeks before I got pg but I did have it 1-2 times per week in the 6 months prior to conceiving her
Just wanted to point out that everyone who has a failed blue sway "the old school way" was eating tons of bananas because they were considered such strong "boy foods". THere are no boy foods or girl foods, it's the overall diet that matters and not any one food. :)
Dream Members there is a really nice thread called "The Myth of the Magic Foods and Best/Worst Food Guide" in the Dream Members section that is really helpful, has a "grading" of foods from A-D in terms of how good they are for pink. There are no grade F foods for pink! :)
When I conceived both my DDs I was eating very poorly due to long hours at work, I never ate fruits/vegetables, never ate breakfast basically I ate a lot of pasta/rice with several types of sauces and also was never fond of meat. When I snacked ( not too often) I had sweet deserts full of unhealthy fats....So overall lots of empty calories.
When I conceived DD I would have 3 rice cakes spread with peanut butter and sliced banana or 3 ryevita with 1/2 a mashed avocado and slices of tomato for lunch most days in the week. Dinner was usually pasta with spicy tomato sauce or rice and veggies with a bit of cheese
