Just thought id post--a couple of cycles ago i was on hcg and it took longer than normal to clear my system so i went in fir a quantative beta in case, 2 hours after poas with the frer digi. The blood work came back at 4 miu--clearly just leftover from the shots but for anyone wanting a FAST answer...thats the stick to use!!!
Forgot to mention--the FRER came back POSITIVE. 2 hours later blood was drawn with 4 miu (a technical negative since 5 miu is the minimum by any standards for a bfp)....which means it reads at least 4 ir 5 miu....WOW...IM IMPRESSED!
I didn't even know FRER made digis! The standard FRER is supposed to detect 6.5 miu according to consumer tests.
HCg levels dissipate out the blood ****** and urine at different rates. It leaves the blood first and the urine last, so even if you blood hcg was 4, in your urine it may be higher which would trigger the positive.
