Ttc girl sway-confirmed girl :)
Ok so I'm not sure if this is the right 'format' but I wanted to add my girl sway after finding the our that we are having a baby girl 2 days ago!
Both myself and hubby are in our 20's and have a son. I suffer with Hyperemesis during pregnancy, more so this time, so this was sort of my last opportunity to have a baby girl.
My sway isn't as well researched as it could have been so feel free to correct anything I might have done that coincides more with a blue away [emoji4].
So...I am generally a healthy low weight (not underweight) , I teach yoga and was doing regular ashtanga (faster yoga, a good cardio workout) as well as running once a week and weight training about 3 times a week before I conceived.
My diet mostly consisted of fruits, vegetables, plant based fats and proteins from nuts, pulses, hemp protein shakes and I ate eggs and fish (very little meat). My calorie intake wasn't especially high but I was getting the nutrition I needed.
I was taking a Vit B multivitamin, Calcium and Vit D, cranberry, zinc and vit C. Not sure if I was meant to take those last 2?
My DH was taking Selenium, Vit C and Cranberry. Again not sure if the Vit C is pink friendly? He also works out regularly and does a physical job.
I did limit my caffeine intake but it was more for general TTC purposes as I believe caffeine is meant to sway girl.
I didn't eat a lot of dairy or carbs and neither does my DH, although he has more dairy than me. I was using soy milk in my protein shakes.
I was tracking my temps and using opk's. I usually had a regular cycle after coming off the Mirena IUD 5 months before hand. The cycle I conceived was really unusual though, I had an anovulatory cycle followed by a breakthrough bleed that was similar to AF and lasted about as long, because of this we hadn't made any 'attempts' in about a week. I decided to count it as a new cycle, and ended up ovulating cd 7! So we had only made 1 attempt, after not doing it for about a week because of my weird anovulatory AF thing [emoji4].
At 12+2 I had a very girly looking nub and we saw a clear hamburger at our scan this week at 19+2. I still can't believe it!
I think that's about it but I'll add more if I think of it.
