Hi, it's weird but I'm getting a couple of small pimples on my face here and there. I don't normally have any pimples and I'm on saw palmetto which I've read some posts saying that there face has cleared so I'm a little confused. I'm also taking Folic acid, cranberry, vitex, magnesium with b6 and calcium sometimes what are your thoughts? Tia
I'm getting the odd spot too - I guess any change in hormonal balance could cause an improvement or deterioration in skin condition!
There are lots of reasons why people get acne - hormones are only one of many and they tend to cause those great big huge acne pimples, not the smaller run of the mill zits. The girl diet, being high in simple carbs, is more friendly to the growth of bacteria and it's also summertime which can cause pimples to flare up due to sweat.
