So, in a nutshell Dh got impatient and decided that he wanted to make an attempt this month. I wanted to wait until next month so that I could have a better picture of ovulation and etc. I came down with a bad cold 3 days ago, totally out of no where and now I'm stuck deciding if I should just try to maximize my boy odds, or am I just screwed? We dtd the last few days but I just got a positive opk.. Thoughts ??
Well since you already DTD in the fertile window I would try to maximize my odds at this point. Keep eating regularly. DTD a couple more times and hope for the best. Good luck!
I personally would proceed only because you dtd last few days and this still might be enough for conception with a lover sperm count. I would attempt tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening:) Unless you had 7 attempts in a row last few days.

Thanks for the advice! We dtd Monday am, tues pm, twice wed, and nothing yesterday. So I thought maybe we should follow the pattern you suggested, tonight , morning and then tomorrow evening. Prayers up and fingers crossed!!
FWIW, I got pregnant with DS2 while EXTREMELY sick, but we DTD every other day leading up to my fertile window, and everyday through O. DS2 is 21 months! I am a firm believer it is diet and exercise that matters the most!

I would have attempts today if possible and then again tonight. IT's not too late.
Reading this is reassuring!! I will try to get in as many attempts as possible today and just hope and pray that my following the diet for two months coupled with exercise and frequent Bd'ing will do the trick. Thanks to everyone for the advice! I'll keep you all updated.. I'm :nails: but I'll take all of the blue dust I can get, lol...:bluesperm::ttcboy:
XXforhubby I know what you mean. I want to have a baby boy for my hubby badly!!! He's soo excited and it's all he talks about. We have two girls already so I really want it to happen. Thanks for the well wishes. I'll send some pink dust your way!!
