Is this okay for my diet?
I tend to eat the same things so my diet would be pretty consistent.
5:00 am- a few almonds
7:00- almond milk, organic protein powder, kale, and berries shake
9:00- hard boiled egg
10:00- apple and a few almonds
11:50- chicken, avocado, Dijon mustard, and carrots. La croix drink
1:30- hard boiled egg
3:00- "granola" mixed nuts, dried fruit, flax, sunflower seeds, and honey
5:00- salad with homemade Dijon balsamic, onion, feta, and some sort of meat. Usually Italian sausage or taco seasoning with ground beef.
7:00- homemade Lara bar (dates, almonds, dried fruit)
(Occasional plain yogurt if I can stomach it. I'm not a dairy lover but trying to eat better dairy)
Is this enough food? Is 6 weeks the recommendation before first attempt? I've been eating more paleo style and want to keep that up. I also want the diet to be something I can sustain and not put on weight. It took 9 months to conceive my second and I dropped the diet after putting on weight. I'm trying to eat smarter this time.
I'm currently running 3 miles, 4-5 days a week. I'm going to switch it up to 2 miles in the morning and weights, kickboxing, or Insanity in the evening. My youngest is 9 months and I'm still 10 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight. I want to lose that and then do the above diet for 6 weeks before we try. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
