Cycles and OPK after Mirena removal

I'd love to hear about people's experiences after having Mirena removed. Can you used OPKs right away to find out if you are ovulating? Anyone who got a BFP right after removal, I'd like to hear how it went! Or just anyone's experiences with their cycles after Mirena. I'm planning to take mine out right before TTC. TIA!

I had mine out in December and had a little withdrawal bleed that lasted 2 days and then I'm pretty sure I ovulated 7 days later and got AF maybe 9 days later. I then had a perfect 28 day cycle (O'd CD 16).

We didn't try for those cycles as I wanted to give my body time to get my cycles right (and I didn't want another September baby). My next cycle went wacky and was 57 days with lots of spotting, then my next cycle I didn't O until CD 30 but we did get a BFP :)

I would think you can still use an OPK as you have to get an LH surge to ovulate but it might be random when it happens. I was ovulating with the mirena in as I would get O pain and then a tiny amount of spotting 10-12 days later. I also temped one cycle and it showed I O'd.
