Am I doing something wrong?
So I posted about this a while back, but I hadn't started cardio yet. Well, I started my cardio a week ago (5-6 weeks until our first attempt) and am doing 65-70 minutes on the elliptical - and I would say it's pretty intense. I have not dropped ANY weight on the diet and now I'm even holding steady while doing the cardio. I'm sticking to 1500-1800 calories, but have had some days where I've gone over on fat, but not always calories. I'm eating a lot of pop-tarts, white bread, gummy bears, sugar... you get the picture. :-D I'm sticking to two meals and not snacking.
I'm 116 lbs, 5'4, so not overweight, but I feel like I should be dropping at least something. Could it be my body holding on to the calories, or is it possible that I'm insulin-resistant? Do you guys have suggestions on what I should do? I don't want to try the PCOS diet (have no history of any problems of that sort) if it's going to harm my sway, but I also would like to lose even a pound if it means it could help. I'm just discouraged!
As a side note, does taking fiber apart from a meal raise your blood sugar?
