Hi everyone totally new to this as me and dh have just decided to start ttc #5 we have 3 boys and 1 girl at the moment Ds1 - 12, ds2 - 10, dd - 7 and ds3 - 5. I would love another daughter to even up the numbers and came across this site, i currently have an implanon in my arm and heard once out you can get pregnant almost straight away would the hormones from implanon have any effect on swaying?
They may sway pink so I would try having it out and then TTC trying to catch the first egg. You can take OPK tests to see if you have a surge, and then BD at the first positive OPK - just ONE time for pink. :)

Ok brilliant thanks so much for your reply I reaaalllllllyyyyyy want a little girl this time and want to do everything right but had been told that straight after coming off birth control is a really good time for girls, so thankful to know this is true:) Eeeeeek my inlaws are taking my other 4 kids for the week next week so just me and hubby as he has a week off work to celebrate our wedding anniversary, perfect timing I think xxx
Atomic - would you recommend TTC from the get go when the implanon is removed and just using OPK's to get the 1st surge? Or wait until your 1st period then start TTC?
I always want you guys to try to catch the first egg if poss either by using OPK or else BD e4d.
