This is a UK article claiming two thirds of UK mothers are deficient in iodine.
Are we seriously the only country who doesn't have iodine in our salt as standard?? Why is this? Is it a cost thing? Would adding iodine to our salt like the rest of the world cancel the need for these pills and work out cheaper in the long run? Thoughts?
