O+12 help for a newbie

Hello,
I have never posted here, but have been reading all the successful girl sway posts, among others and following a lot of the sway things here(diet,cardio, charting,replens,cm checks,opks,etc) for a fee months. I had a plan to do a 4 day cut off for my 1st sway attempt which was supposed to be this upcoming Monday and had a lot of ewcm today (a week early. Maybe due to bf'ing) and a cramp an hour before, which i didnt think much of at the time. I decided that i will try the O+12 tonight instead of this month being a waste, because i see a lot of successful O+12's here, but i wonder about a few things.

Dh has been doing FR for 3 days so far. It would've been 7-8 days by Mon, but is FR ok with O+12 and only having done it for 3 days? Should i have him do it again now, so there is less when we dtd tonight? Does anyone that had a successful O+12 sway have any other info/advice?

Dang it. And i just realized we dtd 4.5 days ago and i O'd. It was in missionary, but i didn't make him try to release farther out, because i thought we were far enough away timing wise that all that was safe, since for the last 3 months, it has been consistently cd21-22. Today is cd14. Did i totally screw my sway attempt by doing that? The only thing i did after was j&d. I did use replens for the 1st time 3 days ago and planned to again tonight.

Pain and EWCM doesn't mean you are Oing that day, it's not at all unusual to get O pain and EWCM up to a week in advance (this happens to me dang near every month!! :p)

I don't recommend O+12 personally, and I never have. I think you may be thinking of Ingender. BUT if you want to do O+12, the best way to do that is to juust DTD one time 48 hours after a positive OPK. THe pain and EWCM really is unreliable to tell when you ovulated.

We are having pretty good resutls with one attempt in the fertile window and not a lot of swimmers can survive 4.5 days out. You didn't mess up your sway at all by doing that!!! If you had an attempt, great, stick with that. IF you didn't, then that's ok too, beause it may not even be the case that you are Oing.

Some people did have their hubbies release once, dump it, then DTD again as soon as he's able using only the second batch for insemination. It does lwoer odds of conception especially with Replens, but it's totally up to you to decide!
