Had a scan at 17 weeks. Is this white mark/blob by the legs (I think) a willy?!

Don't really know I'm not experienced at this but I'd be inclined to say could go either way gender wise! Did u ask about gender? Xx
Yes, it was a gender scan. Baby did lots of potty shots but she said it had the cord between its legs. Then when it was in a side view profile she said boy. Just wanted to know that pic shows he's a boy as I didn't come away with a pic showing that he is one, id have liked a potty shot. I will ask at 20 week scan though!
not a good shot for me, I'm sorry.
at 17 weeks I think side shots aren't always reliable???
That's okay Atomic :-)
I didn't know that about it maybe being unreliable at 17 weeks. I'm sure he is a boy but I will ask at my 20 week scan. I just wondered if that mark was it, as I didn't get a potty shot or anything.
Thanks
IT could go either way. it would be very high for a penis. And a penis isn't so white on a ultra sound.
Fingers crossed its your girl.
Thanks. I'm sure he is a boy which is fine as I've got used to the idea now. But just wish I could've seen the evidence from a potty shot. As it wasn't until baby led on his back as she said from his side profile that she could see a willy.
That is not a willy, but it could still be that the tech saw a willy during the scan. Do you have any nub (side view) shots from 12-14 weeks?
I did not get a potty shot on my gender scan but the tech still told me boy from side view, I don't think that what you are seeing is boy bits tho.
No that doesn't look like a penis to me, it's too white. I have a pic of my DS2 at 16 weeks from the side and his penis is sticking straight up with a bump on the top of it. It's also more transparent looking than what I see in your pic. Unless I'm mistaken, an opaque white area is likely to be bone. What we're seeing might be part of the baby's leg.
