Have you noticed anything regarding marijuana users and gender??

As title says, have you noticed any pattern with any marijuana users you may have worked with? Mainly on the male side? I am not a smoker of any type myself but since DH has smoked we have had 3 girls. I am very sure that I had a strong influence on this ratio myself through poor diet.

I read that the thc makes sperm react as if the egg was present too soon and burns itself out so lowering available sperm count in the crypts maybe??

I know the best advice is for him to quit, but it stops him having his little tantrums when he's drinking (daily). Any thoughts and possible help much appreciated!

Hi ELP :)anecdotal evidence suggests that Male heavy Marijuana users do have more girls :(. I personally do not have exact stats on this but I certainly think there is a correlation.

Females and diet is an area which I believe does not appear to have as much impact on gender , although I know there a lots of very interesting studies regarding this. Poor diet is more likely to impact fertility.

In relation to DH, ideally it would be great if he could stop for many health reasons, but I know that this may not be an option. Therefore we really need to up DH's anti-oxidant intake and he needs a lot of Vitamin C as Marijuana users are depleted of Vitamin C if we want to try and manipulate results. Big Hugs Dr H x

Thanks for your reply Doc:) Luckily I had him on a good over 50+'s multi-vit, 1000mg of flaxseed oil and 200mg daily of co-q10! Its looking like it just may have done the trick!! I will remember for future attempts to add an extra Vit-C to his bucket of pills lol:agree:

My DH is a smoker as well. He won't quit for our sway, but he has cut back. I have been feeding him all kinds of supps. Hopefully it will help!

I reckon it could well do Hobber! Are you planning any sort of cut off? Or a few times around the right time??

No cut off! I got DD1 with a 4 day cut off. I am planning for at least 2, possibly 3 times, starting with the first fade-in opk and then the first +opk, possibly the next morning too. Not sure yet. It is so hard to decide!!

What is better about the over 50 vitamins?

It is recognised that '50 over 50' which means 50% of over 50's men have some sort of erectile disfunction, bless them lol, so when they make over 50's multi-viys they specifically boost and add extra useful for swaying ingrediants into them to help combat this automatically! You'll find most of the things recommended by both ASand babydoctor in a good over 50's multi-vit specifically;)!! I bought a "senior" vitamin (for 50+) and I compared it to what he is currently taking (a regular multi vitamin) and some things are more, but others are less! Should I still give it to him? It says nothing about erectile dysfunction on the bottle.

lol, they don't like to advertise the erectile thing, mine says 'Active lifestyle' I take that as code for the '50 over 50' aspect. I think its not recommened to overdose him on things like zinc, so best just sticking with the best one:agree:
