Attachment 29235Opinions please? I will give tech's "guess" once I get opinions here first. I don't want her "guess" to cloud anyone else's opinion. I can say she just wanted us in and out and seemed rushed. She didn't tell us gender and I asked if she knew what it was and she was like "You don't know?" I was like "no." and she had me lay back down and she looked for what seemed like 30 secs and the baby had legs so close together the whole time. Had me turn to my side, but baby wouldn't budge. Finally she just made a guess and sent us on our way with this photo.

I would guess boy.

Wow! 50/50 guesses. Surprised with the girl guesses. I really thought it would be all boy or could not tell. I don't really see either, but am convinced that thing to the side is a hint of penis. As I said tech was very quick and just took a "guess" I believe to just get us out there since legs were so close together and only took 30 seconds since baby wouldn't budge. The ones that are seeing girl could you please explain how you see girl?

I don't see a penis at all (could be hidden though)
I see two labia? Bit swollen. Could be testikels squeezed together but with my sons it was larger.
It could be both. But i lean more towards girl.

Thank You very much sweetdream! It was driving me crazy! I was wondering how ppl were seeing girl. My girl was completely flat and we can clearly see the lines. We had a picture of her swollen too. Even though it protruded even further up the leg, there was a bigger gap between the two labias. It was so huge of a gap to know it couldn't be balls. With this baby I thought I was seeing squished scrotum (especially since legs are so close together) and a hint of penis near the leg in the bottom of the picture cause it seems to stick up a bit more in that area. The tech did give us a "girl" guess though. I just couldn't see girl in this picture. I still don't know how she was even able to give us that guess with the legs so close together? The picture is the furthest the baby would spread them.

Girl? I have boy no #3 on the way and 2 of my boys looked nothing like this at 20wks even this lil bloke at 16wks looked nothing like this. However my daughter looked similar to this pic at 20wks but I could be wrong. Hope you have a healthy baby and the gender you desire

I would guess girl too. If the thing on the side was a penis than it would be long compared to what looks like the girl parts. But i'm no expert! I have 3 boys and it doesn't look like boy to me.
