There's hope for me yet

So yesterday DH and I had a lovely civil conversation and at this stage he has agreed to ONE attempt which will be next cycle or the one after, depending on how I go getting rid of this bowel infection that I have. I was sooooo excited, so I guess I will just have to cross my fingers and toes and hope that I can still conceive really easily. The only thing is the Bd every 4 days will be difficult for us because we have recently been more active than that and it has really helped us become closer as a couple. Is every second day an option when girl swaying or does it have to be every 3-4 days? Also, does anyone know what Flagyl sways? It is an antibiotic. I won't be on it when trying to conceive so perhaps it won't interfere with the sway? Thanks. :)

I would say use protection every other day

Yes I will thanks. And will prob be every 3 days. For some reason he has limited to just one try so will obviously just have to give it that one try at the first positive OPK I get and see what happens. If we do it next month though that means that I will only have been on the ubiquinol for one month. Does that matter or should we wait til March?

Ubiquinol is a form of Coq10. It is recommended by many REs in the US to help improve egg quality. I haven't seen a fertility specialist here in Australia so I don't know if they recommend it here or not. But because I'm 44 I'll try anything. For older Mums Atomic recommends the ubiquinol and higher levels of folic acid. Ubiquinol is the active form of Coq10 and has superior absorption and higher bioavailability than the other forms of Coq10 such as ubiquinone and ubidecarenone. It's main role is to help support healthy energ synthesis and to act as a highly efficient antioxidant. I'm just taking one capsule per day so that's 100mg. And I'm taking 2000mcg folic acid.

Hmm, glad DH has agreed to one attempt! That's better than nothing! I even tried to get my DH to agree to that but nope! With your age though and with DH only agreeing to one TTC cycle I would probably BD every 3 days from the time AF ends PLUS an additional attempt a +opk. You really need to make the most of the one cycle you get to try. And make sure you're not doing anything to hinder conception-- no Rephresh, licorice root, antihistamines, etc. I'd probably use a small amount of Preseed too (about 1 inch using the applicator, that's what I do), prop hips after and lay on belly, and avoid alcohol and caffeine in the TWW to prevent anything from hindering implantation. Eat pineapple every day in the TWW too as that is supposed to help implantation. Good luck! Is your DH taking Olive Leaf extract capsules? I would have him do that to improve sperm quality.

Thankyou soooo much for your reply Essnce. The thing that will make the attempt difficult though is that DH has only agreed to BD one time without a condom (not several times in one cycle) - just the one time in one cycle. I guess that makes me lucky, but only a bit lucky. Lol! I don't know what his reasoning is behind this, maybe just to shut me up. Perhaps he thinks thwt with just the one attempt I have no chance of falling pregnant? Who knows. I guess I can't look a gift horse in the mouth, as the saying goes. I will still try to talk him around to the idea of BD without a condom every 3 days for just one cycle though. Thankyou soooo much for all your advice. I will do everything you have suggested Hun and I greatly appreciate you taking the time to reply. :) The only things I am taking are 100g of ubiquinol and 2000mcg folic acid per day. Should I up any of these do you think or just leave them as they are? I already have the preseed so all good there. And I won't be taking anything extra, except Elevit prenatal every second day or 3 times a week until BFP. I don't know if DH will agree to Olive leaf extract but he might if I buy it for him and say I read online that it helps with BD performance. ;) hehe! How much pineapple should I eat per day in the 2ww do you know? In your opinion Esnce - how long should we take the ubiquinol and olive least extract before attempt? Eat the pineapple with the core. Buy it and take off the "skin" and cut in half then each half in 3 sections. Eat each section starting between 1dpo and 3dpo until you've eaten 5 or all 6 sections and that's it. If you continue to eat it further on the. It could actually hinder. The only cycle I ate the pineapple I got my BFP.

So I would eat one of the six sections of pineapple per day? So from 1 DPO until 6 DPO? Have I understood correctly? From what point or what DPO should you not eat pineapple? Thanks soooo much for your info too by the way. Greatly appreciated. :)

Yes you read correctly, I was reading and dr said not to eat it past 7dpo
