Size of follicles on clomid?

I had an increase in my clomid dose due to only having one 22mm follicle last cycle. I had my u/s today and had two follicles that were 24 and 25. Everything I read says that they should be 22 max. Once I googled, I found more like 18-30 and 23-28 but I'm just not sure. It's hard to get good stats from people with an infertility diagnosis because there's no saying why others don't get a bfp.

My RE acted surprised when I said they were too big and said they like them to be bigger with clomid. Ugh I don't know what to believe.

Doesn't it depend how close you are to O? Mine were smaller but I was still several days from ovulating when I had the scan.

Did he give you an idea how far off to expect O?

They triggered me this morning after the u/s. So I should O most likely in 24-36 hours. I've just read a lot that says they usually trigger at 18-22mm so of course I'm upset that my stupid follicles have to be big!!

Try to trust your dr :) I'm sure it will be fine! So I assume you are most likely to release two eggs?

Yup! Hopefully they do and hopefully one is good. I most likely have egg quality issues so it's nerve wracking.

I think that it's done now so all the Googling in the world won't make a difference.

I have seen plenty of peopel get pregnant from follies in that size and I think that 18-30, and 23-28, you fit right in there, right???
