Paying to have an early gender scan.

I'm paying to have an early scan done...Is 15 weeks a reliable gender ultrasound? I had my sons early scan done at 16weeks and it was correct but this new place says 15weeks. Has anyone had it done this early and was it correct?

I've heard it's accurate. There is a place near me that also advertises 15-16 weeks. I found out with this baby at 16 weeks 3 days.

Thanks for the reply! I want to go at 15 weeks I just wanted to make sure it's still pretty accurate.

The one by me does it at 13 and 14 weeks. If they can't see anything at 14 weeks they will let you come back for free (don't at 13) but they got mine right at 13 + 1. Lots of people get them done at 14 around here and they are accurate.

I went at 15+3 and it was very accurate and no doubt whatsoever. Clear labia visible!

Tomorrow is the big day 15 week ultrasound! I'm hoping for a wide open clear and accurate result! Will keep you all updated!

I got one at 16wks for ds2 and it was very clear so I might go earlier this time. Apparently if you are on the thinner side it is easier to see.

I was told DS was a boy at 12+3 weeks at my normal 12 week Morphology scan.
