I'm walking on the treadmill at 3.5mph seven days days a week for 60-70 minutes.Also I break it up during the workout by slowing down to 2mph and putting the incline up like I'm on a hill a handful of times through the workout...is that ok?

I like to slow it down and step up the incline, I heard when I was attend the gym last year that your supposed to burn more calories doing that.
As long as your heart/pulse rate is raised for the 60+ mins your doing great!

You're doing great! Keep up the good work! I too am walking. I walk while wearing my DS3 who is 4mo in a front carrier and pushing my DS2 who is almost 3yrs in a stroller. I can't walk super fast but boy do I feel it!
