What are the odds?
My husband and I plan to DTD everyday this month, and have so far. Additionally, I'm taking benadryl because I've been sick, and it's the only medicine that works for me. I've read that both of those sway pink, but I've known women to get pregnant with boys, after spermicide fails. Plus, DTD without the 3-4 day cut-off sways blue, or so I've heard. With all these things in mind, my question is: what are my odds of conceiving a boy, if the spermicide were to fail? I've become pregnant, as a result of using spermicide before, so I'm living proof that it can happen! Oh, and I didn't explain why we are using spermicide. The reason is he doesn't want to try neccessarily, but he's fine with it, if the birth control method were to fail.

Any method that decreases conception odds sways pink, also DTD after ovulation (there is also a method called O+12 hours which people follow when they sway pink).

Your diet plays a much larger role imo -- what's your status on diet?

I wouldn't really consider it HE or LE, but I really don't know all the ins and outs of either diet and which foods fall under which.

Are you trying for a boy?
You always have a chance of a boy or a girl no matter what, but that would not be the method I'd use to get one. :)
Good luck and blue dust.

Not particularly, just thought my odds were better for a boy. Either would be loved, as I really got my hopes up for another baby, after having a miscarriage in February.

OK! I would def. go easy on the spermicide to help something sneak through.
Good luck!!
