Advice please- is mother nature sabotaging my sway...

I am planning to boy sway starting from my May cycle (fingers crossed it works this time!) We both started HE and supps (multivit, EPO, TT, fish oil and folic acid) approx 2 weeks ago. Also I'm drinking a lot of green tea. I normally cycle like clockwork, OV on day 15 and usually 30/31 cycle. Im not sure if theres anything in the supps or diet but this cycle I have had brown stained discharge on cd 8 and 10. Then yesterday evening, cd11, have had blood loss, enough to have to wear a pad, seems to have eased a little today but still blood when I wipe (sorry TMI) what is this :( why in the name of all things has this happened so close to when I need everything in order? Ive done OPK last two days both neg. I'm actually fuming with my body I feel like its having a laugh at my expense. Now I don't know if to ignore this and assume its one of them things or class this as a period, its sure messed up my ff that's for sure! Anyone had this or similar and could it be something I'm eating or drinking or the suppliments causing this? Thanks in advance

It could be the EPO. I would drop that. I don't think it's wise to take, anyway. It can cause spotting and delay O.

oh really? I didn't know that. Ive always took it when TTC to help the mucus side of things. This was a lot more than spotting mind x

The fish oi, is a blood thinner so the combo could have caused the bleed. How much fish oil are you taking?

I'm taking 1000mg a day (split over 2). Obviously after 3 girls we are desperate for a boy and our last sway (where admittedly we didn't stick 100% more like 80) was not successful. This time round is our last attempt and anything related to boy sway we are trying!!! Probably going to far into it now but we cant take any chances :( sitting after finding out we were having another girl and analysing where we went wrong was aweful. We want to be able to say we gave it all we had. Thanks for your replies xxx

That's a fine dose of fish oil, I think it was just combined with EPO that may have caused bleeding. Did you go a GD style for your last girl?

Last time I don't a bit of a combo the bits I liked of GD and a bit of Boy diet from the "other" site combined. I done HE but cut out dairy and acidic foods. So the supps etc are a mixture off the IG site boy cooking and I'm following HE from here this time. We have both cut out all alcohol and caffeine apart from the odd mouthful of coke. Last time I done several attempts during O time and this time I'm going to just try once on O day (will use cheapie OPK till close then got smiley face and waiting for peak fertile time) so basically doing same but tidying up the loose ends. I wish we could have gone for PGD (as originally planned) as its our last attempt but sadly we don't have the finances and refuse to get into debt for something which may not work at all. The TT (I never recommend this anyway) the green tea and the EPO all can cause this.

I seriously doubt it's a period, midcycle spotting or bleeding from the cervix. I would have you drop the TT, wean off EPO, and cut green tea intake by 1/2 and see waht happens.

I can't say strenuoulsy enough how big a mistake it is to do the one attempt. We have 70-75% for PINK with that. I totally understand wanting to change things up but of all the things to change, PLEASE don't do just one attempt. I beg ya. Even if you can do two, it will help.

Thanks for the advice atomic, I think you might be right with the tt as it is something I have never taken before whereas the others I have with no ill effects. I hear what your saying but based on that would you recommend once at first positive? Im using smileys so would you say wait for the peak and try the 2 days following? or Try at flashing smiley and then at peak? I apologise if its on a post somewhere, ive been trying to go through some old posts but its a minefield x
