Disappearing symptoms
Is it normal for symptoms to come and go in early pregnancy? I'm almost 5 weeks and the nausea I've been having every day is gone today. I haven't had many other symptoms except for sore boobs and mild cramping. I can't help but worry about another loss. I just keep hoping and praying our little nugget is snuggled in tight. I'm so anxious for my ultrasound on the 3rd!!

It can mean an impending loss, but likewise it can mean nothing whatsoever. With all of my pregnancies I often have lots of symptoms around when I get my bfp, and then most of the time my symptoms disappear only for them to reappear with a vengence around 6 weeks.

It's just so hard when it's early and there's really no reassurance all is well. I don't want to feel sick but at the same time, if I did I think it'd make me feel better about baby! lol

That's totally understandable. Try to stay positive for the minute, it's such early days and very normal not to feel sick just yet. You might even be very lucky to to get sick this time round.

I had days early on where my symptoms stopped and I wondered what was going on. They would always reappear, I thought it might be related to how well rested I was at the time. Is it worth checking in with your doc? Maybe a blood test would reassure you?

Thank you ladies. I already had two beta tests done (last done a week ago) and my levels increased nicely. My doctor really only does just the two tests. This morning I've had a little nausea on and off so that makes me happy. lol My ultrasound is just over a week away so I'm hoping to see a healthy little nugget in there. :)

Yeah I didn't really have morning sickness until about 6/7 weeks with DS1 and then with DS2 around 7 or 8 weeks I think. With DS2 I was so miserable and was hugging the porcelain goddess all day. lol I just got nervous yesterday when my nausea wasn't there but today it's back so I'm grateful for that. haha

We have found that is the case for some of us especially in early preg. and in the late first tri. Plus I have seen plenty of gals with tons of symptoms who have MM so I do not think there's a strong correlation here.
I know it's impossible not to worry though.

Thank you Atomic. :) I've been feeling a little more at ease as the days go by (still nervous for my ultrasound though!).
