Hi guys, I know its awful but I have my heart set a girl and we DTD days before I ovulated to help our chances. What do you think and can you explain why? :)

I've had a look at a number of tests and theory's:
Nub theory: Girl (I can only see a tiny thing)
Skull theory: Boy
Mayan Calendar: Girl
Salty or Sweet : Girl Prefer Sweet BUT I'm not craving either salty or sweet food so I guess its inconclusive.
Sickness or no sickness: Girl
Baking Soda test: Boy
Ring test: Girl
Soft or Dry Skin: Boy
Spotty or Glow: Girl
Leg hair growth. Faster or Same: Girl
Dull or Bright Urine: Girl
Sleeping on Right or Left: Boy (But I've only slept on this side as its recommended to stop sickness. I prefer my right!)
Can anybody thing of any more? :P
I've tried two Chinese chart generators (using luna age / month) one said girl the other said boy.
Not great pics, I only see a nub in the 2nd one. While flat it looks maybe a bit stacked to me so I would lean boy. I hope it's a girl though!
Also, timing doesn't sway at all, just FYI.

I did a lot of research into spermys etc (lol) and found out female sperm is more hardy than male sperm, but male sperm is faster. So DTD days before ovulation would mean the male sperms die off and leaving more female sperm, ready and waiting for that little egg to be released. I did my LH tests for a few months and again the month we wanted to convince, so knew exactly when I was ovulating. We also tried the position suggested for a girl (shallow penetration) again giving the female sperm a better chance.
I wanted a Halloween baby and a little girl so I new I had to DTD on a specific day to get that date. If it didn't happen then we were just going to try everyday over ovulation the next month. I wasn't sure if we managed it but my scan confirmed how far I was and it meant I'm due on 31st October! Now I know only 10% of babies are born on their due date, but I'm going to give it a go! :P Also going off all the apps and sites doing it on that day would also result in a higher chance of a girl. So double win.
Now just have to wait and see if I get my girl!
This is my first and obviously I'll be grateful for which ever, but I'd really like a little girl first.
There is no difference in spped or longevity between X and Y sperm. That is a myth that has been debunked and disproven many times over in numerous studies. It was never proven to begin with or based on any evidence either.
Also, OPKs cannot determine O day. All they do is tell you when your LH levels are high. You can O 1, 2, 3 or more days after a positive OPK or even not at all. The only way to determine the exact day of O is by ultrasound after the fact. It is IMPOSSIBLE to determine when you will O in advance to the day.
Position does not sway either, and those apps that predict O are crap.
Diet, exercise, number of attempts in your fertile period, and Clomid & Femara are what sway significantly. Diet foremost. But NOT the diets you've most likely read about elsewhere.
I truly hope you have a girl but if you don't, I suggest you read up on swaying the GD way. Only nub theory and the new blood tests can predict gender early on with any accuracy though blood tests are much more accurate than nub guessing naturally! So I wouldn't read anything into all those are gender prediction methods.
Nothing outside of nub theory is accurate (sickness, even, just has to do with hyperemesis gravidarum SLIGHTLY increased in girl pregnancies).Quote:
