Macros in fruit and veg
Does anyone know which macros we should count in fruit and veg?? I'm always at the upper end of limits (Upto 60g) but that's including all my fruit and veg, but I feel I should be under 50g really. If I took all fruit and veg out of it then I'd probably achieve this. Eg I had mushrooms today which are relatively high protein, together with cabbage and leek, then carrots, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and red pepper. Any idea?x

Low carb veggies are free count nothing! High carb veggies and fruit count calories not fat or protein.

Low carb veg like your mushrooms, cabbage, leek, cucumber, cherry tom, red pepper are FREE. You count NOTHING in them, not cals, fat, or protein.
High carb veg (potato, yam, carrot, beetroot) and fruit you count only cals.
So yes you are doing better than you think and may even have to eat MORE to ensure you're getting enough protein/fat for a healthy prengnancy.
If you are doing LE PCOS type diet though you do need to get up to the 50-60 g protein so that really may not even be a problem
