I think the IUI is recommended for people because you're just getting the good stuff that much closer to where it needs to be. It's not a miracle cure to be sure but it also is one of those "insurancy" things that they have to try before they can move you on to IVF if you need to go that route. I think they're just running you through the "infertility playbook" here where first they do Clomid, then IUI, then maybe injectibles, and then IVF suggestions.
I would have you BOTH TTC naturally and do the IUI. They will most likely continue you on the Clomid while the IUI is going on so you can still have the benefits for hopefully pink. The IUI process may make sperm "tired" so I want you to also try for at least one natural BD in the window to catch the egg.
It doesn't need to be one or the other you can do acupuncture with the IUI.
The important thing to keep sight of is that you keep chugging away like the Little Engine That Could and eventually the right sperm will meet the right egg and find the right place in your uterus to grow up big and strong. :heart:
