Possibility of high estrogen levels?

Need some advice again! Cd 7 today and had our first attempt last night. However, I have noticed bloating, nausea and tender breasts. I thought I must be pregnant but negative pregnancy test! Have been trying for another baby since June. Was asking on another thread if anyone had experienced similar and one of the ladies let me know that she had this before and it can be a sign of high estrogen? Could this be an explanation for why I have not conceived thus far? I drink alot of diet coke per day and have just added coffee to my sway? I there anyway I could correct this, without medication? My gp is mot very helpful! :-(, thanks in advance for any advice!

"High estrogen Levels" is one of those things people love to toss out there with absolutely no evidence to back it up. You are SUPPOSED to be high in estrogen at 7 DPO. If you weren't, you would not be able to conceive.

Some cycles are just weird, and swaying seems to increase this.

I like you guys to keep the diet coke to 2-3 servings a day regardless. That is a safe intake. More than that and I don't feel it is proven safe anyway so I'd cut back if you're having more than that. A normal coffee intake does not affect your hormone levels anyway and if you are white, it may actually LOWER estrogen If you are black or Asian, it may raise them over time but it is still good for your sway.

A large part of the point of the LE Diet and the fiber is to lower estrogen.

It is hard for me to totally keep track of everything we have gone over in various threads so if you give me a recap I can tell you what to tweak moving forward. I would be sure you have dropped hot bath, tighty whiteys, and above all else shallow release because I have recently had several people who did not get pregnant doing those things, and they forgot to mention they were doing them so I had them doing all this blue-friendly stuff when really all they needed to do was drop those things. :)

Thanks atomic, I will definitely cut back the diet coke. We never did any of the hot showers, tighty whites. My husband is taking ole, maybe he should stop that? What is shallow release? We mostly do missionary, as I find it easier to lie with my legs elevated afterwards, without shifting about and more falling out. We changed this month to e4d's from end of af. Last two months I started with one attempt and then moved to every four days, I had hoped my one attempt was enough and I was just covering myself by e4d's.

This cycle I am day 10 today with no highs registering on my cb monitor, the past two months I have had quite a few high days by this stage. This makes me both hopeful and concerned, hopeful that my cycle has settled and will get the usual 2 high, 2 peak and one high after peak, rather than endless highs. Although I have got pregnant twice with endless highs on cb fm. But it always concerns me that I will get no highs / or peaks, it has never happened but always a chance. Am white, so that is good news on the coffee front. Is it really three cups per day? It is vile stiff to me and have only managed one or two cups per day.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. I just feel down about my chances at the minute. Getting fed up with diet and exercise and my dh is as well, with me doing the diet and exercise I should add. Everyone in real life seems to be getting pregnant at the drop of a hat and not even trying and most are having girls, I just wish it did not matter to me and I could let go, thanks again I really appreciate your help x

You're the gal who's just had 2 months of trying, right?? Just try to keep in mind that it takes an average 3-6 months to get pregnant and it may just not have been your month. Iknow it's annoying when everyone else gets preggo right away and you don't, but it may be a good sign. It took me 6 months with DD and all my boys were either 1 or 2 months.

Coffee - you have to go off what is your norm and not for anyone else. We do not have the data to say yes only 3 cups or is 1-2 enough - we just don't know that. if you're doing more than you were, that is what counts.
