Vinegar douche RAISING ph?

Has anyone experienced vinegar douche actually raising their ph? I thought I'd try a test run to see how it affects me since I've never done it before, so I did it this morning with a store-bought one. My ph before doing it was around 5.5 (maybe even a tad lower), and I tested about an hour after the douche and my ph had gone up to 6! Tested again this afternoon and same thing. Granted I'm using the cheapie strips to test, but they seem to be fairly accurate. I did the same test with Replens before and the strips definitely showed my ph had gone down and stayed down a couple days. So what gives?!

Yes, I find this to be true for a lot of people and this is why the old-schoolers are constantly douching every hour or two for days on end (don't do that, ladies) because your pH naturally goes up. You shoot the douche up there and your body is like WHAAA??? and sends out a burst of mucus to get rid of the stuff.
