Spotting 3 dpo! What is going on???

Hopefully somebody may have experienced similar or be able to shed some light on what might possibly be going on with my body as I am confused. I normally have an 11-14 day LP sometimes with slight spotting from day 7 or 8 until AF arrives but last night (2 or 3dpo) I noticed darkish brown spotting overnight when I went to the bathroom. This morning there is still a slight amount of light brown spotting when I wipe (sorry TMI ). This just seems too early for implantation spotting and too late for ovulation spotting. I am pretty sure I ovulated Saturday as positive opk Friday arvo, felt o type pains sat arvo and ewcm fri and sat which dried up Sunday so don't think this is delayed ovulation but at a loss to explain it. I really hope it is not my AF coming super early. Has anyone else experienced anything like this while on the LE diet? I have only been on the LE diet for 6 weeks and we had our first attempt Friday night. Hoping someone can tell me what they think might be causing this spotting. :worry:

I have only very very very rarely seen anyone get AF that soon after Oing and most were nursing still. Never anyone only on diet for 6 weeks.

my suspicion is this is just a weird thing probably from the cervix and not true spotting (where your uterine lining sloughs off).

Thanks Atomic, I am guessing just a weird anomaly or very late ovulation bleeding as it has stopped now, had a little more very light brown spotting the next day then nothing since. Am 6dpo today so hopefully no more spotting or AF for at least another 4-5 days. Thanks for taking the time to reply
