what time of day did you BD and what was the gender?

Ive had a brief discussion about this on here.. but i cant find the thread.. (i think the result is it has little to zero effect on gender)...

Someone told me doing it in the morning was how she got her girls? Obviously i dont know what else she was doing at the time, and we were not discussing swaying either. Its more than likely her opinion / circumstances but it has however sparked an interest :)

As for me, we always DTD in the evening and did so with both our boys. Anyone feel like sharing your info with me that would be cool - if only for a bit of chit chat :)

We've always BDed in the evening, and I have 3 boys. I'm not sure that we could pull off AM BDing with 3 kids, haha!

I'm sure it doesn't matter. What probably matters the most is BDing in enough time for the sperm to have time to capacitate before the egg dies. Since we don't know exactly when we ovulate, I think BDing whenever you can after getting a positive opk is the way to go. Plus, if time of day of BDing mattered we would all have our desired gender!

I only test OPK's at like 2 in the arvo anyway so if positive we BD that evening.. :think: I suppose e4d could work if not using opk's at all!! (and no little people around in am)

I have 3 girls and BD evening with the 1st 2 and afternoon (early evening) with dd3. Only used opks with dd3... where I picked up a false surge then O'd late.
For this sway, we BD 3 time in AM thru O. I always heard, it was better to BD in the AM for blue because of sperm count is higher in the AM. I am sure other factors always make a huge difference!

I believe (and data supports) that the only reason why swaying works, is because signals sent to your body indicate that one gender vs. the other have a better chance of survival to adulthood to pass down genes to future generations. Things like your overall condition, your husband's sperm quality, nutrients coming in, your muscle mass, etc all make "sense" in light of this idea. DTD in the morning vs at night make NO SENSE - if you do not have enough nutrients coming in to help a baby boy grow up big and strong at 6 am, you would not have enough at 11 pm.

THis is just one of those very silly ideas that doesn't actually work.

This is when most EVERYONE BD. The idea that somehow people with girls are all doinkin' it in the morning and then us boy moms only at night - it just makes no sense.
