Surprise BFP!

I am one week late today and I decided to test. Surprise, a stark positive! I really wasn't expecting to be as last month I was about 5 days late. I just assumed my cycle was changing. Had a scary thought that I might be pre-menopausal (hello, pregnancy hormones) but it turns out I'm most definitely not. Feeling all kinds of crappy at the moment. DH doesn't know. We weren't trying. In fact, he was adamant that we were done. I was even thinking we were done or at least done for a couple of years. He had been pulling out for the last few months but not this month. No idea when I o'd even but I think we just had the one attempt. I don't even know how to tell him. He's been super-stressed with work lately. But I won't be able to hide it if I start puking (which I really feel like I'm about to) and if my period still doesn't start. I played it off as just being late (I really thought it was coming).
Sorry if this is jumbled. My sister is the only one who knows right now and I feel like I have to tell someone else!

I don't have any advice but just tell him sooner rather than later. I put it off too long with my last one which was kind of an oopsie and it just felt harder and harder when I did tell him. :/

Congrats! I hope your hubby takes the news ok, he will probably be surprised at first like you were.

Congrats Beau. I know unexpected can be scary but also kinda exciting. This baby must really want to be part of your family. Good luck telling DH.

Just an update! I told DH tonight. He took it very well and said if he was that worried about a fifth, he would have gotten a vasectomy ages ago :happy: So all is well!

I was sort of following the PCOS diet but more just some aspects of it. I followed it better from about Jan-June or so. After that I tried to just keep a lot of the eating habits.
