Silica & biotin

Hi Dr,

I have a question for you.

I am looking for hair supplements. silica & biotin capsules

Do you think i can use it specifically when you are planning to do IVF/PGD.

I also heard that they both reduce hair loss. I read mixed reviews on Silica & biotin capsules.

Appreciate any response.

I am not aware of any problem taking either. Silica is ground up sand; biotin is a water soluable vitamin B7; Why are you considering these?

I am having severe hair loss, i read that these supplement will reduce hair loss,

I am not sure why i am loosing hair, may be becasue of stress. I am eating healthy but still have hair loss.

I am sorry to hear this. Have you been to a hair loss specialist? There are many causes, some of which are hormonal and can be corrected. Best of luck with this. Dr. P
