every 4 days vs abstain, vinegar/rephresh, DH's pH???

We are getting ready for our first attempt in about two weeks and I'm starting to get so nervous that I'm going to do the wrong thing!! We're swaying pink.

We're going to try one attempt at positive OPK (or the day before I suspect a positive opk - I seem to O the same day as my positive based on my chart/temps)

Is it best to have DH release about every 4 days or abstain for about a week? (or longer?) I worry with the every 4 days, he will end up releasing and then the next day I'll get my positive OPK so he'll end up releasing two days in a row or every other day. Would it be better to just abstain for a week or a little more if O is delayed?

Also, is there a need to use a vinegar douche or rephresh if my ph is normally around 4-4.5? I have a lot of CM around O, but it seems to stay under 4.5. Zyrtec/Benadryl don't dry it up at all.

Last, can DH's ph be too low? I checked DH's last night and it was about 6.6.

Any other last minute tips???

Most people do want to start off having their husband do either abstain or FR (daily relelase for 7-10 days in advance of their one attempt) But both those things cut odds of concepiton a lot and since they haven't really helped anyway, more people are now having their hubby do regular release with one attempt (every 2-4 days). It doesn't matter if he just released 1-2 days before. That's fine. Just have attempt as planned.

I don't find there to be any reason to douche or use RepH any more anyway, so if your pH is low I'd skip.

DH pH can be too low BUT supposedly all good for a pink sway. May cut odds of conception.
