Hi
It may the teensiest bit, but the thing is that if you don't make the changes it may end up harder for you to get/stay pregnant.
Try to think of swaying as a radio dial. At the one end your hormones are so low that you can't get pregnant. At the other end your hormones are so high that you develop PCOS (just speaking very generally this is how it works). So if you are dialed down too far with not eating, not getting enough sleep, etc you may have a harder time getting pregnant. So we actually have to dial it back the "blue" direction a little bit, but you'll still be pink friendly.
The other thing you may want to try is just going for it as it is FIRST and seeing how it goes. Human beings are very able to live on less food than the modern American diet (and have, for virtually all our existence) and so since you're used to this lifestyle and amount of food intake, it may not reduce your fertility the same way it would for someone who was eating 2500 cals a day and suddenly switched to the diet you follow. Your body adjusts over time and it may have adjusted. If your menstrual cycle seems normal, I'd start folic acid or folate (probably would add in coffee and alcohol if you aren't using them already to help the sway) and give it a try and see what happens. You may get pregnant easily and then as soon as you see that BFP you can start prenatal and eating better at that point.
I can see the wisdom with either approach - wishing you the best of luck and sending tons of pink dust!
Thanks!
If you want to lose the weight and have it to spare, I'd try to lose a little at least. It may help. I just don't want you to go to Skeletor settings LOL and then try to TTC.
The cardio has been so good I have to recommend it for virtually everyone who can do it.
