How soon after AF ends do you start DTD e4d?

As early as you like and continue until you go past the latest you've ever ovulated or all cycle long in case of delayed/late ovulation.

I would start right away after AF is over to be sure. Good luck. I love e4d- that is how we got prego and it was easy to follow.

Straight away. If you have a really short period you don't have to, but I think it helps take the pressure off to be settled into the pattern early.

How exactly is e4d done? Is it just sex every four days?

Yes, unprotected sex every 4th day starting after AF ends and going thru till when you're sure you've ovulated even if it means you go all the way till next cycle begins. For better odds of pink, lower odds of conception, do it every 96 hours; for better odds of conception, possibly lower chance of pink (altho we still get good results) do it every 72 hours. Please understand there is no magic to the number of hours, it's just how you count the days. Don't get hung up on the number of hours, it's just a way to explain how to count the days.
