I said I wasn't going to use opKs this time but I'm too much of a control freak... I've been getting dark but not positive tests every other day since Wednesday. One day dark the next barely there does anyone know why? Could I still O or have I missed it? Before dd5 I usually o'd cd 18 or 19, today is cd 18

i would say you are ovulating or about to ovulate ?

Your body uses the hormone to do lots of different things aside from triggering O so sometimes you can get those lines like that. Believe it or not even ifyour husband peed on them, HE could get those lines!!!

The problem is, sometimes you actually are surging, but the concentration in your urine just never gets enough to make the tests go completely positive. So if you aren't hung up on timing, if you think O is getting close and you're getting those dark-but-not-pos tests, I'd start DTD EOD and see what happens. If the test goes pos you can hit it with 2-3 more attempts at that point, otherwise just keep rolling with that EOD and either way youlll be covered!

Thanks I was just worried about only getting one attempt in, that's how I got 4 out of 5 of my girls!!!

Every other day will be 2 in the worst case scenario, and if you just have that feeling you're Oing you can always squeeze in another one!!!
