Thoughts on advice from my RE appointment?

I had my first appointment this morning with an RE that I was referred to. The gist of my meeting is that although she is super happy to rx me clomid or femera for next cycle, she thinks that I will get pregnant on my own given my previous pregnancies and lab work. She said that she personally believes that the temping and opk testing can make type A people like me even crazier, which atomic I know we discussed previously. If I cut out temping and opk's, do I just do e4d and hope that it catches the egg? Since there's no positive opk to go off of, is there anything else to do? I'm trying to chew on all info she gave me so that I can continue accordingly with this cycle as I'm sure I'll O in the next week or so. Thanks ladies!

Yes, you'd do e4d (or even e3d though I would not recommend it till you've given it a good try with e4d) and then just rely on lady luck to do her part and end up with a well timed attempt. Remember, up until the last 2 decades people did not have OPK (and in fact didn't even know what ovulation WAS LOL) and yet still got preggo without that stuff.

I'd prob. take her up on the Femara tho - it is less likely to make twins than Clomid by far and that would assuage your hubby's concerns, plus still sways pink.

Thanks, atomic. I'm thinking to do the femera next cycle without the opk or temping. So coupled with that, I would just do e4d after start of AF, yes? Or would you suggest that I do the opk and have 2 attempts with the femera? Just a touch confused when adding that in...
