I know we have data on 8-12 weeks of diet vs less .. however, do we have any data on duration of exercise? Can I just go hardcore for a month ? Or should I do 8weeks minimum?

We don't know. I prefer you guys do 6 weeks minimum as that is the often quoted number of time to see changes with exercise. But I don't have much data to back that up, just that is what exercise gurus claim.
