Are you sure they counted all your antrals or were they just talking about THE one egg that is actively growing this month?
.
Well, I know you need donor sperm which further complicates matters but your natural fertility and IVF fertility are two entirely different things. With IVF, 1-3 follicles as your AFC will make things challenging. When you add gender as a requirement, it can reduce your numbers because you may lose embryos due to gender.
What about donor embryo? At your age and because you already need donor sperm, I would talk to HRC or another US clinic about donor embryo options and not even throw money at regular IVF. You will need a clinic that does a lot of PGD testing to find a gender tested embryo but they do exist and it will increase your odds dramatically.
I know you have said that doing IVF, the baby is half genetically yours and you can "get away with it" but nobody will ever look at a child and wonder if the child is not yours. I know plenty of children that look nothing like their parents and nobody questions them!
I am sorry that this is not looking like it is an easy path but I really think donor embryo is the way to go for you.

It is very likely that you have always had a lower AFC. You DID have an egg growing. We all only have one that is really growing each month. With IUI, I assume they would give you a low dose of fertility meds to maybe yield a second egg to help up your conception chances but as long as you are still ovulating, which you clearly are, natural conception is possible.
