Hi there! I just took femara this last cycle and had no issues with my opk's. I would add that I O'd much earlier than normal, so I would tell you to probably start opk's a few days earlier than you normally do. Best of luck!

If you start testing too soon after taking your last dose (within 3 days) you will get false positive OPK. It's also next to impossible you'd O that early anyway since the Femara prevents that. So what I have people do is BD the 5th day after taking the Femara and start testing with OPK that same day. That way, if you do get a positive OPK that very same day, and you aren't sure if it's real or phony, you'll be covered either way. Then you can keep testing and have an attempt later on when the real OPK shows up (if the first one was a faker).
I think fertility monitors do tend to cause confusion on Femara but you can use them provided you remember that you can get many days of high fertility on them.
I do think in most cases a person in this situation would benefit from doing every 4 day method starting the day of the last dose of Femara and continuing on til you're sure you've ovulated, even if this means going on till next AF begins! Then you don't even have to worry about whether the test is right or wrong, you'll be in with regular BD and always have at least some chance of conception. But I know that this is not possible for you guys, I'm just mentioning it for others who are reading this thread as well.

3-8 or 3-7???
You'll O 24-36 hours after the trigger so yes that could be a good way to work out the details on when to "complete the transaction". :) Good luck!
