Hi!
I am wanting to know if all mint sways girl or if it has to be peppermint? I have Chocolate Mint plants that my husband makes tea with. 😀
I hope I'm posting in the right place.. this is my first time. If not, please let me know where to go. ☺
Thanks!

I figured this one might be tough.. lol.

No, not tough at all, I need more than a day to get through all the questions. :)
All mint should sway pink, exception to avoid is pennyroyal as that has components that may cause miscarriage.

You're such a wealth of information. I appreciate it so much! I can't believe you reply to all of these.. Thanks again for the help.

do the mints like polo's or soft-mints or extra strong mints also sway? or is it just the plant/mint leaves? ive never heard this before :) how does it sway? sorry for the questions, i love mint/mint flavour/mints haha and funnily enough i know a lady who has 3 girls and crunches down mints like they are going out of fashion!! we are talking entire multipacks of 5-6 tubes of the extra strong mints eaten in one sitting day in-day out its like a weird addiction.
chocolate mint plants sound AMAZING :D

I do too - I know two women who eat lots of mints and have girl(s) but other things were going for them as well. I find it pretty unlikely that anything like eating mints really make girls. For instance they both tend to skip meals and chew gum or eat mints to tide them over between meals...sooo, yeah. Wish it was so easy! Although that many mints at once has to be medicinal, one would think (although I'd not ever recommend that while TTC!!)
Mint has been shown in studies to lower estrogen and testosterone levels. Women with PCOS find that very helpful since they make too much testosterone and then the mint tea (most studies have used mint tea, not candy, since PCOSers should not eat sugar anyway) helps to lower that and free up more raw materials to make progesterone with, which PCOSers often have not enough progesterone. So for the minority with moderate to severe PCO, it can help. Most people, while swaying, end up too low in estrogen and mint on top of that can really delay ovulation and make LP short (since estrogen also plays a role in short LP!) We also try to control our PCOS via diet, exercise, and occasionally things like myo-inositol or even medication like Metformin, both of which work better than the mints anyway.
So long story short, this is not something I widely recommend as a way to control for PCO and while many people do start off using mint tea, results have been disappointing for sways and it's also caused a lot of trouble for people.

thankyou for explaining atomic :) ive never drank mint tea but i have seen it used on here, i didnt factor mint into either of my sways i was just curious how it sways, i would think the level of mints she consumes would have to be medicinal too! not recommending it either her teeth are wrecked from them!

Interesting. I love mint and eat mint things or have peppermint candies like Altoids everyday and I have 5 boys. Guess it did not do anything for my swaying ;) But I do lead a VERY boy lifestyle.
