Ladynic Introduction
Hi everyone! I just signed up for these forums but I am a long-time lurker. I love these forums because the women here are so supportive and Atomic's knowledge about fertilty as well as swaying is obviously so extensive and more thorough than anything I've read anywhere else.
So about me, I am 41 years old and ttc my first child. I had never planned to wait this long, but life circumstances brought me here. I was also then diagnosed with hypothyroidism so ttc was further put on hold until my levels were under control. Since I am on borrowed time in terms of my fertility, I am now going at ttc as aggressively as possible. I had fertility blood work done around my 40th birthday and had an FSH of 7, which according to my OB/GYN (who is also trained as a fertility specialist - lucky me), is pretty good and means I should (theoretically) still have a shot at ttc. My paternal grandmother was 43 when she had her youngest, so I'm hoping I take after her 😊.
However I do know that even with everything being good on paper, the fact is I am still at an age where my chances are not as good. So I have been reading on here about how to sway for a boy since that is supposed to be best for fertility overall (though I would absolutely love a baby of either gender).
I'm so happy to be here!

Hi and welcome!!
I had my daughter at 42 (conceived at 41) and it was a very easy pregnancy and birth. Swaying blue is a great idea, just be careful not to go too heavy on the carbs as too many carbs is not the best for egg quality. Something like South Beach Diet, the Zone, or Perfect Health Diet where you're getting protein + healthy carbs (within some limits) and healthy fats will be great for you.
Please let me know how I can help!!
