Last night I was laying in bed thinking about things, thinking about when I get pregnant and going for my 12 week scan getting the dvd so I could share with you all.
I get the dvd home and study it only to see that it is another girl.
I felt so dissapointed, I honestly didn't think I would feel like that.
I just don't know how to feel anymore.
I said this before you know we just don't know how we really feel until we are there.
You already have a son so you know you can have a boy! I really hope you get another.

It is a hard because there is, of course, a chance you could have another girl. Swaying is not at all 100%, it just tips your odds a bit. What is boils down (if you cannot go high tech for a boy) is whether you would feel better swaying and getting another girl or not swaying and getting a girl. Most of us feel that it is better to give it our best shot and what happens happens. But you know what, I think it is very important for swayers to go into it with an open mind so you are not shattered when you get an opposite of what you wanted. Best to head GD off at the pass if you can, if you know what I mean.
I do agree with the others and say, hey, you have one, you could have another.
I totally understand how you feel. Just remember though that if you don't try, you have zero chance at a boy.
my thinking was that even if I got an opposite (which I DID) then at least I had a baby to love. I know I feel a lot better having him, than not having him!! (I would still have had GD, and I wouldn'tve had him, either.)
I read somewhere on one of these forums somebody said you may regret your decision not to have another child, but you never regret a baby that you have. I agonised over the decision to TTC #4 for the same reasons you do. I so wanted to have 1 last shot at a girl, but was so worried that my sway would fail and I would again suffer with GD.
In the end DH said he did not want to TTC anymore (he was always less keen than me) and he said he was happy with the 3 boys we have. I was gutted but at the same time I agreed with him. We have 3 amazing boys and no matter what I love them dearly and am so proud of them. But lo and behold, a week or 2 after DH dropped the bombshell I got a BFP!! I guess it was meant to be!!
If this is a girl, I will be over the moon. If not I will have 4 amazing boys and nothing will change that. What matters is a happy family dynamic, and my boys get along brilliantly well. I have gotten over my GD, and I hope that it stays away even if this baby is a boy!!

I do understand what u are all saying, and I do agree with it all.
I've been thinking about it alot, I think I might have to say maybe it's just not meant to be. Maybe I am only supposed to have 1 son.
