I think I read a reply from Atomic yesterday which said that other diets don't include it because it's alkalinising but that in dietary quantities it's ok (and is said to lower blood sugar like you say) but, more importantly, it can add much needed flavour to an otherwise rather dull diet!

In terms of taking cinnamon as a supplement, I don't feel like enough is known about safety prior to TTC to recommend it in any more than dietary amounts, but this is one thing I have had in the back of my mind as a possible pink supp since my earliest days doing research on this (it's even mentioned in my blog of 3 years ago). If you were to decide to take it, please keep us updated on how it goes for you.
