i haven't had this happen to me but because i have had a lot of babies it always gets brought up as my "biggest risk factor" for delivery, this time i was toying with the idea of trying red raspberry leaf tea tablets because they are supposed to help tone the uterus but i wasnt feeling 100% comfortable with taking them (im nervous about meds in pregnancy) so i changed my mind until i saw my midwife who told me she 100% wants me to take them this time from 34 weeks to hopefully ensure things are well toned in there and able to shrink down quickly once baby is born.
my cousins wife had a massive haemorrhage after her 1st baby due to atony, 3 years later she had her 2nd baby with minimal bleeding (both vag deliveries) so it doesnt mean you will have it again but i would guess your risk is higher :(
**please dont take red raspberry leaf without first asking your midwife or doctor as im not sure if they would be safe to take due to previous c-sections, im not really convinced it does much :-/ but if it does tone things maybe it could be a risk to your scar?
